ComfAlign® Spinal Support

The ComfAlign® Spinal Support is a type of back brace called a lumbosacral orthosis (LSO) because it embraces and supports the lower to middle part of the spine. An LSO is typically used to help limit strain on the back and provide abdominal compression in occurrences of acute or chronic pain; however, it is also indicated for post-surgical support for such procedures as discectomies or spinal fusions.

ComfAlign® back braces are made from molded plastic in gender-specific shapes that promote comfort while helping control improper motion. The patented1 ComfAlign® Spinal Support is completely adjustable to accommodate the majority of body shapes and sizes. Built into the back of the back brace is a unique adjustment system to precisely hold the curvature of each patient’s lower back (lumbar spine). The front has fully adjustable straps that are easily operated for back brace removal and re-application.

From the most basic elements to the patented mechanism of adjustment, the ComfAlign® Spinal Support is a back brace designed to help patients return to normal living activities within the limits of their condition. It's a perfect blend of form and function with the essence of comfortable support.
